Two ledgers, kept by Dr. Daniel Peirce (died 1808) of Kittery, Maine, between 1762 and 1809, record patients and diseases treated and payments received through cash or barter. The accounts primarily date between 1762 and 1801. Peirce also provided services to the town of Kittery on behalf of its indigent residents. Also includes tax records and assorted memoranda.
